Interleague Play

Interleague play is here. This would be a great time for the White sox to catch up and win some games. The White sox went 15-3 versus the national league last year. But they are off to a bad start by losing to the dodgers last night in extra innings. The sox have won 8 of their last 10 games and now have a 20-26 record and in fourth place. They have definatly gotten their act together lately and that is good but i would be very happy to see better  play. If i can remember back, the sox have always had slow starts and ends to seasons. They start off bad and then start to do better but then just fall back down again. Hopefully they will have better season this year. Now back to interleague play, The yankees have the best interleague play record in the al and the marlins have the best in the nl. The yankees have always been good but the marlins havent been very good for a few years. The marlins won against te rays but the yankees lost to their rival, the mets. And of course, the amercian league has the better record in interleague play. Why does it always seem like the american league is better?

I think it is the DH. AL teams are naturally one ‘deeper’ on quality players and their pitchers have to pitch to 9 real batters. Maybe it just adds up.
